100 degrees F - So on a hot day expect your gas to ignite?
Only if you provide an ignition source. But then I expect my gas to ignite at any normal temperature in South Texas, including 20 degrees, with a match.
Without an external ignition source we are discussing the autoignition temperature, which for gasoline is 495 degrees and 410 degrees for diesel. So the moral of the story is if the outside temperature goes above 400 degrees or so be sure to keep your fuel in a styrofoam box for safety.
