Farmtrac 675 DTC Question

Rookie at this farm thing and a weekend warrior at best. Have an opportunity to purchase a 2007, Farmtrac 675 DTC w/ bucket, NEW-lot model, for $20,000. Sounds like a good price but don't know enough of the brand or pricing to know if this is a good deal. Told by the dealer that his cost was $26,000. Would have light farming, mowing, forest application a few times a year. Any advice for a rookie looking for a deal? Thank you all!

Farmtrac is no longer in business, I have a FT 360DTC with FEL and have had no problems with it, mine is manufactured by LS in South Korea, but I believe what you are looking at is manufactured in India and I don't know about parts, personally I think I would look at another brand and would'nt buy one with a FEL without four wheel drive. Just one man's opinion, hope that help's.

I own an 07 675DTC and have found it to be a very tough and reliable tractor. The engine is a UK Perkins diesel, parts available thru CAT dealers. It's a 4.4l 4 cylinder, lots of displacement for only 75hp, which is good for durability. Perkins uses this same size engine from 75hp up to 140hp turbocharged and aftercooled.
Transmission and axles are made by Carroni which is common to Indian Deere and some Mahindra tractors.
I've about 300hrs on mine and have only had a couple of fittings to tighten, otherwise no problems.
For 20,000, that's a smoking deal, the dealers cost is/was around 26,000 and this tractor retailed around 29,000.
I think Montana has assumed warranty and parts for Farmtrac but you may want to ask your dealer.
