FEL additional storage

This probably should have been posted in the Customization forum, but felt it would do more good here.

There is quite a bit of extra storage areas on the FEL. Had a set on the old 3430 with 723. The new LA854 pipes were larger, so I made some more.

These are made from 6/6 nylon, 4 3/4" x 2" thick, turned down to 4 3/8", then split 4 ways, drilled for a 3/8" bolt, with a tapered nut on the inside. Tighten up the bolt and it swells the nylon inside the tube.

Great place to carry chains/straps and such.

Had them for 2 years on the 3430 and even when pushing brushpiles, never lost one.

Good idea... I needed to carry chains as well... I used PVC pipe and stuck it into all available orfices of sufficient size.. and bolted some on the rear.. see photos.

These posts give me some ideas on wear to store the things I need to take out my trash. Thanks! If I use PVC, I'll be sure to paint it Kubota orange though.
