Hi,
Just a question about the dump speed on the ml 111 FEL on my 3215. The decal shows that moving the fel control lever all the way to the right will allow the bucket to dump more rapidly, however all the way to the right is regular speed. I can find a spot somewhere in between full right and normal position that I can find "quick dump". Not a big deal but somewhat of a pia, being able to find it consistently takes some getting used to. Having the "quick dump" feature working the seemingly correct way would be nice. Is this just me or is something else going on here? I have taken a look at the hoses, they seem fine and in the correct positions, maybe it is something in the valve body itself?

My 4035 is the same way, with an ML120 loader. All the way to the right is supposed to be "regen" or fast dump mode, but in between seems to work better.

you have to push it past the first stopping point... like when you engage the float by pushing all the way up past the breaking point

Yours actually has a slow and high speed usage setting on the handle.. you just lift and turn the collar . Pretty cool system but I always keep them on the more touchy setting

I've never heard of this. Are you talking about the handle locking collar?

Thanks for the input, I'll check it out shortly. It is finally past the freezing point here (almost 50) it makes it a little more pleasant being outside. More snow on the way for the weekend!

yes you can turn the collar to change the reaction of the loader. One is for when your working the handle fast it will slow the reaction speed. and the other make the loader much more touchy. They label it as low speed and high speed if im thinking right

I just went out to "play" with the tractor, and couldn't find the collar that you might be talking about. The only thing I can see is the "locking" collar for keeping the handle in a neutral position. I also tried pushing it as far right as it will go. The same thing, the fast dump mode seems to be before all the way right!

My Max25 has the same decal, and the same frustrating result. Even when I find that sweet spot, it's not all that fast. Seems when i move the loader handle it goes Slow/Faster/Slower.

I've read some posts on this in the past, and it seems this is the common consensus for most Max owners. (likely a different valve than yours, but sounds very similar)

Ok I just went and checked one out to be sure the collar doesn't turn it slides up and down to choose the setting. You can have it all the way up in the first position then slide it down for the second then further down to lock it. I apologize for the confusion

Also checked the dump and its working how illustrated. Slow dump until you push further right and then fast dump kicks in. you can hear it pull the engine when the fast dump starts

Thanks, Just read one of the threads from the bottom of this page and the whole quick dump thing has been explained before. It didn't come up when I tried to search. Guess I didn't use the right words in search :confused3:

Gotcha well if you ever have a question about the tractor feel free to message me.

I just tried my loader and I have no fast dump. It shows that I do, but when you move leaver it goes slow, then stops, then further over is slow again. Thats why I think I have something wrong with my spools or something? When they haul my tractor in I am going to get them to check it, because it is annoying to go to dump and hit the spot that it stops and you have to move it less or more to dump! All the way over on my 5035 is no faster then just moving lever an inch or two.

are you seeing it affect anything else like the lift? It definitely should advance itself the further you go so that is odd. I know iv seen a pause in other spools when it bumps over to the high speed and some will even pause but they sure catch and push fast after that. Can you hear any change in the engine when it does this?

try and hold it all the way right for a good bit even after it maxes out. it should really drag the engine at this point

This is what the Mahindra manual says.

If moved to the right from neutral and
more move to the right the loader will be
in regeneration mode. It will fast dump
the bucket.

You might check under the can on the bottom of the valve for correct operation and if clogged with old grease, rust, etc.

Thats why I want them to haul it in before loader runs out of warranty. I have operated loaders on other tractors and on one I owned, and this one is different. Mine does not dump fast no matter how hard you push leaver over. No faster than it does in slow mode and that is very slow. Takes several seconds to dump. I would say at least 6 of 7 seconds with 2000 RPM.

Is there a way to load videos from a phone on here?

My 2815 works this way too, not sure why but it has been like that since new.
