Thanks all of you. Really THANKS! I am trying to get out to test it yet tonight! Just got back from being a vendor at a Corvette Car Show

Did I jump it right? I assumed the switch was on the transmission.
BTW, nothing, confound it!

Yes, you are jumping it correctly. Do you have power on your jump wire when trying to start?

I just tried it with my RTV. The wire going to safety switch that has power in start mode is the white one. Then you jump it to the other wire (red/blue). I then had power to the relay on the red/blue wire. You have to check your white wire at the safety switch to see if you have power during start mode. I know, I don't have arms long enough either. Smaller thin wire fits in the plug best as it is a small connector. Paperclip? Just put a rag underneath during testing.

Guys I started from scratch using all your comments to check parts. On the ignition 4 prong, only the B/W has power when the RTV is put in start by the key. Checking for resistance on the black 4 pronged part, the two on the left (up and down) show a resistance of zero. Checking for resistance on what that plugs into the left and right are zero resistance (on the bottom where the attachment is). Looking for resistance on the two piece from the transmission, does not show zero. Also voltage is zero whether start position is on or off.

Does this help!? Thanks Stu

I will try to trace the W at the safety switch back to the B/W at the relay as the schematic shows they are connected. Will have to find a connector or mouse damage or ?? why one has power but not the other.

When you check for voltage at the safety switch, check each wire from the harness to ground. One of them MUST show voltage when the key is in start position. (mine is the white wire) Then, in normal operation, when in neutral, the safety switch passes that voltage in the r/bl wire back to the relay. I looked at my rtv and I see no connector between the B/W and the W for the switch so you must have a problem with your harness. They must connect within the harness somewhere.

RuffDog, only the B/W has voltage with the key is in the start position (not otherwise). The other three wire have no voltage with the key in the start position and all four have no voltage WITHOUT the key in the start position.

We checked the wires and can find none destroyed by critters. We looked at everyone with a high intensity light.

The red/blue wire SHOULD have power at the relay and it comes through the safety switch. One of the wires at the safety switch MUST have power and it gets it from the B/W wire. You should be able to plug everything back together and jumper between the B/W and the small red/blue at the relay (bypassing the safety switch circuit) and start it like normal. It would start in any gear though.
