Fence project

It's kinda funny how it all works. I got this job because about a mile away is a job that still is straight and looks good after six or seven years. This customer wanted a fence like that.

Then the other day I brought over a couple to see this one because they were looking for ideas for their place. Tomorrow I start two thousand foot of this type of framework with VMesh horse fence.

Harv ... if I may be so bold ... what did the $ / ft end up being on that installation. Did you have any posts going into rock ledges? Were those tight spots the largest obstacle in the installation?

That fence will stick to curious youngster's tongues for a good long while it seems.

I needed 2.5 acres of horse fencing 3 years ago and almost got real dumb and went with vinyl 4 board. $14 ft installed made me much smarter.

The CEO wanted 4 board wood fencing (oak) so we got that. (See how smart I got?)

At almost half the price. $8 / ft.

I install that kind of fence for ten dollars a foot including materials plus gates etc.

There abouts the clay goes probably down thirty feet plus. But down by the creek by the house I got real lucky and found some concrete fill in some of my holes. Made it sorta interesting.

The tight spots wasn't the biggest pain in the job. There were some short sections and they take as much time to set up and stretch as the long ones do.
