Just a comment on the finish mower. Last year I purchased the 72" version of the woods model that you have. One of the best attachments I've ever bought. I paid 350 for it and it was in pretty rough shape. The beauty of it was with 100$ I was able to rebuild the whole mower. I cut a 5 acre field 10+ times with it last year, it has paid for itself in less than one year. Those mowers, with the big fly wheels aren't the prettiest compared to new sleeker designs but they are definitely work horses. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it mowed beautifully as well, it left nice lines like it was professionally mowed.

Well, I bought it! $1800 with a brand new heavy-duty clutch installed.

You did very well. If I came across a deal like that, I'd be all over it. I grew up on a Fergie TO20 and loved the rear brake pedals on each side of the running gear, the lift-up hood with the toolbox in front, and the overhead valve engine. Live hydraulics would be nice, but you just don't get everything for $1800.

I agree with farm.. those weight likely have decent value to a collector.. though for obvious reasons will have to be local pickup.. or shipping would eat you alive..

Thanks, I will! Any idea what those things weigh? I found something somewhere that said 745lbs per wheel, does that sound right? AND, there is liquid in the tires. That's a LOT of extra weight. Do you know what the liquid could be in the tires? How would you get it out? Too bad I don't need to plow with it.
