Hmm.. I don't have ma manual with me.. post what the description is for the 12/13.. i know one is just a retaining ring..

I'm guessing that part is likely to stay in the pump.. I don't see it seperately in any for sale lists.. etc.

is your part like that damaged?

post 19 is a pic of the assembly out of our pump. The rod is somewhat bent and distorted. but seems to slide in the pump freely, so it might be ok.

The part is attached to the control valve held in place by the snap ring, so it comes out with the valve.

My point was that it is removeable.. IE the snap ring.. I only see the outter parts for sale.. not the inner parts.

I was talking to a mechanic the other day that has worked on older Fergies and Fords for 40 years and he told me that if I'm going to change the tranny/hydraulic/diff fluid to use high trans. He said it's not as thick and well work better in colder conditions.

He also gave me 15-40 for the motor oil, what are you all using?

we were using the general purpose hydraulic oil we use in our other equipment, but now we are going to use the GL-1 90 weight oil. We haven't put everything back together yet, hope to get that done in the next week or so. thanks for passing along that info.
