Yep pride in some work are questionable.
THAT is an obvious advantage of buying online, local driving distance is a non issue. The smartest thing I do with my iphone is leave in in my company truck for the weekend. If I'm going to order online I'm not driving 50 miles to pick it up; it's getting delivered to my house. USPS, UPS, and FedEx are glad to oblige.
That was my experience the one time I experienced CC fraud. The CC company sent me a final statement with their assessment of what they thought were the fraudulent charges, and they were exactly right. I enabled e-mail alerts for all charges after that experience. I also keep an extra credit or debit card on hand, in case one goes bad.Me too - except last Thursday morning when I go to get gas and my card is rejected. I call the cc company and am told they canceled my card as suspicious activity was detected.
Luckily I had cash but had to go inside, pay a fixed amount, go back out and pump, go back in and get change and go back to my car.
By the way, my cc company was fantastic. They ID’d 3 fraudulent charges, rejected the charges, canceled the card and Fedex’d me a new card by Friday at 4pm. Citi MasterCard.
One of the fraud charges was $.77 (cents!) to a dentist located in a city 260 miles away. What’s that about?

I pay cash for nothing!I can't remember the last time I paid cash for anything. Maybe years.
That is the "unintended consequences" of nearly all government programs. They nearly always end up doing more harm than good. That is why I nearly always want to puke when people say they want "good governance". I am convinced it doesn't work. Or if so, only in limited situations. But most people seem to want government intervention in their lives. "there ought to be a law". You often get exactly what you ask for.Why work when you can get on the govt. gravey train. In my area there are help wanted signs every where. Yet homeless line up for a hand out. And yes many business are cutting back on hours or closing one day a week because no one wants to work.

I get a total of $1,000+ "cash back" each year, from credit cards.
Never pay a dime of interest either!

Yep, playing the CC game intelligently. Same here.I pay cash for nothing!

I have 3 total cards, for % rebate differences, and the possibilityof a fraud/stop issue.
Just bought a new low flush toilet at HD.
One card would have rebated $4, the other $10.
Guess which one I used!
