Oil Filter Cross Reference Thread
I had an uncle that repaired antique clocks all of his life. I was fascinated with his basement workshop.
I will be looking for other filters, "other then the Subaru one" the next time I go through all 4 that I ordered. I also will NOT recommend Jack's Small Engines. I thought he had them in stock. Well, I guess that is what happens when I think .
My card was charged, and I was sent an email when I ordered it telling me of when they would be shipped, of which I haven't gotten anything, charged $10 for shipping, and it is less then 50 miles from where I live. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry, and already had one.
Josh, tell me how the filters work out for you, as I saw a lot of 6 or so for around $20 with free shipping. Live and learn I guess.
I sure will Jeff. Those FRAM XG series would give us the best filtration with the Mobile 1. I'll keep that in mind about Jack's Small engines, thanks.
I was informed in an Email when I got home that the Stock Subaru one is back ordered, and could be the 10th or later. I wish I knew for sure that the Fram TG4967 would fit, and I would go ahead and order some.
I just put a Fram, ph4967 on my PT 422 with a Robin Subaru engine. Seems to work find. I ran it for 30 minutes today. I thing the TG is just a different grade.
That was the right number he gave me then. Thanks for letting us know that.
Yep, a 5 quart jug of Mobile 1 and a few oil filters on hand makes for a happy PTThanks Josh, once I use some of these True Subaru filters up I will go for the Fram, but that could be a few hours down the road, I think I have 4 filters now![]()
