Filter Question

I was looking around at filters on Tractorsmart.com and I was wondering what the difference was between these two filters and if they were both needed for a 50 hour service.

67955-37710 Trans/Hyd Filter

66021-36060 Filter, Spin On HST Trans.

Any help??

You need them both, along with an engine oil filter for the 50 hour service.

About 10 months ago there was a thread on this specific thing, and it is worth finding and reading. There can be some confusion on which filter goes where. Sometimes the originals are painted gray and not marked. Your tractor may be different but mine had gray filters. One person got them on wrong I remember.

I can't point you to that thread as since I was erased I don't have anything to refer to now. But a search should turn something up.

PS I just found a note that says the 67955 goes on the right, and the 66021 goes on the left. I assume this is as viewed from the driver's seat facing forward... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I know. My parents own a construction business. I have always had love for equitment and I wanted a new tractor. We use to have a Kubota L2900GST. My mom said that if you want a new tractor you pay for it. I found one that I thought I wanted and I am making payments. My mom said that it would teach me some responsibility. Even though I have 235.00 to pay in a month I don't regret it. It is a very good investment.
