Filtering certain forums

Is there a way to filter out forums/sub forums you are not interested in? Often if I'm on here everyday I just click on New Posts but even then have to filter down through all the sub forums I have no interest in. I know rvnet has this feature but most likely a different forum software.

If I am correctly understanding the original question about filtering out specific forums from the 'New Posts' function, this method will do what you are looking for. It works on my desktop PC; I don't know about smartphone apps.

I just tried cut n pasting your link and it doesn't work at least for me. The link in the referenced post that is. In the forum software I'm thinking of you can just filter out the forums with a few mouse clicks and then I wouldn't even need the new posts link.

The link worked on my laptop under Firefox and von-mil is correct, it does appear rather cumbersome. I am not bothered enough by all the posts that appear to bother going to the trouble of excluding them.

There is an embedded space in the link (between http and ://www). I forget why I added the space. Try it again without the space.

Edit: I see that there is a second space in the link - it is near the end of the link. Neither of the spaces should be there.
