Was telling someone the other day, if i build again it will be single story, small, square.
I was going to but then realized I'd have vertical seams on all corners. I have the tape but, would prefer to avoid the seams so, I'm.going to move the scaffolding 3 times to put up sheathing, house wrap and then siding. It's more work but, I think I'll be happier that I did it that way.Are you going to put the house wrap on it before moving on to the next side?
I'm getting so close to having this thing dried in, I can taste it. I was supposed to have help from.a neighbor today but, he never made it. I got the gable ends sheathed and put the roof decking on alone today. The roof was a JOB. 5 more sheets of OSB and the sheathing is done, hopefully tomorrow.
I think I'm going to call the rental place in Corpus tomorrow and get a price to rent enough scaffolding to setup all the way around for a month. It kills almost 1/2 a day every time I move mine. Plus, if I surround the building, I'll be able to wrap and do windows by myself. I'm going to need help for the siding though, no way I can 20' long pieces of metal siding alone.View attachment 526665View attachment 526666
Not if it rains at all. Plus, with scaffolding, I can have 2 or 3 people on it as we do the siding. Is your ground firm enough to rent a scissor lift?
