I know my property has drain tile, but I am not shure exactly where they are. I think a couple of them might be pluged with roots or sand. Does anyone have an easy way to find them without digging a lot of unnecessary holes, which I have already done.

Video snake. Not only can you see where or if theres blockage, you can use a detector from the surface to find where the tile is and its route, then mark exactly where to dig.

Call your local rentals or look for a contractor. Will save much money and work from digging un-necessary holes.

If you have an idea of where they are, you can get a fiberglass "T" probe from plumbing supply house, or make one yourself.

It is about 4' long with a 1' handle that makes the T. It is a simple probe, since most drain tile is burried in gravel you can usually find by probing in the area.

Try a coat hanger before you spend much money, this really works for me. Try it where you know a pipe is buried to check it out.
