Hi Mike. This thread was resurrected a few weeks ago from way back when I bought my tractor. I didn't purchase a new 4240. This is just the same tractor on the same old thread. Someone dug it up to ask me a question about the machine. Sorry about the confusion. I've had it happen to me to before. Happy New Year. Paul

That happens to the best of us. Just the other day I posted on a motorcycle thread that was three years old. I seldom look to see how old a thread is. As far as I'm concerned there's no expiration date on these topics and it just gives us something to yack about . Thanks for posting

Just got back from the dealer and tested my 4240. Had them install the third function valve as well as the LA854 loader and Blower. I'm still waiting on the deflection thingy for the chute. They had the cutting edge on the bucket and the beast got front fenders. Do they all have front fenders? The hour meter showed 24 hours on it and the dealer said they used it to remove some snow during the winter and there wasn't a scratch anywhere on the tractor or the bucket so I'm happy. They gave me a good price along with a brand new bindered service manual and parts manual and said the first service is free along with giving me and the miss' a Kubota jacket

There going to deliver it tomorrow so I'll post more pics then.Come on snow!!
