I would talk to the dealer about what to watch for when starting it up the first time. But I don't think you should have any problem.

I too have full rear tires, and when the full ballast box was on, I tipped the nose down the other day removing a pallet of shingles off a truck. Lifted it (barely) and I backed away on blacktop. Stopped and the stop rocked the load down slightly enough to start the rear wheels up, whereas I let the loader down. Hit the ground, but didn't hit too hard. Any other reaction would have probably meant posting pictures like yours.

Thanks for your post. It is a very good reminder to us all what will happen when all is not just equally balanced. So much like the ol teeter totter we use to play on /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now the toys are more expensive, and much more fun.

YOU TITLED this thread 1ST ROLLOVER, hope you don;t intend on having more! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif don't look like you went over hard so probably not to much dammage, get it up right and let it sit , thn check all the fluids, and when u get it started, just drive it around and do some light work with it, make sure you did not damage any hoses or such.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you're right about the damage. Besides the possible dent to the wallet, I just have too much stuff to get done not to have the little beast running her best.

Thanks for sharing you experience with us. Glad you were not injured. I am sure the tractor will be fine after you top off all the fluids. Don't forget to check the front axle. If yours is like my B2910, I think the vent is on the left side.

We all worry about slopes and tipping, but you picture makes it look like it is almost flat. THis is something we all need to remember. Were you moving very fast forward? We all need to keep this in our minds...you just never know when something may go wrong.

It's really good you had your seat belt on!

Right after I got myself unhooked from the seat, one of the first things I thought of was to take pics for the TBN crew. Being a relative newbie (just under 90 hrs), I figured it might help drive home the point that all you veterans are always making...BE SAFE!

Having been there and done that, I know exactly the feeling that you have experienced. The good part is that you were not injured. I was thrown from the tractor and landed in soft dirt. I not sure what hurt more.... my pride or my body. I was able to right my tractor with my Oliver OC3 and my F250 4x4. Mine was a 8000 pound Minneapolis Moline, so yours shouldn't present much of a problem to upright. Once you have it back on all 4's, the only problem that I can see is the oil might have leaked past the rings into the upper part of the cylinders. If this has happened and you try to start it, you might cause a hydraulic lock problem and bend a connecting rod. If it were mine, I would pull the injectors and then crank it over. No need to mention to check all fluids first, you already know that. Actually, I would drain and refill the crankcase. Measure the amount that comes out and that will give you a better idea of how much you lost. It will not take into consideration how much is on the ground. Also keep this accident to yourself, you don't want the state EPA coming in to do a environmental hazardous waste clean up. Just dig out the soil and hide it somewhere. Considering that you went over in soft ground, I doubt that there will be any lasting scars on the machine. If it is still under warranty, you might not want to clue in the selling dealer as to what happened. That way, if you have a problem down the road, he can't blame in on the accident. Any good diesel mechanic can give you advise and help on the engine situation and you don't have to consult with the dealer. Removing the injectors shouldn't cost very much. About 2 hours or less total to R&R them. If the batter has spilled acid, then neutralize it with baking soda. Since the battery is relatively new, I would add new electrolyte to replace what has spilled. Wash everything well with dish washing soap and water.

I'm like Junkman, I wonder about oil in the cylinders of the engine. If you try to start it and they have oil in them, you run a chance of busting the pistons. Pulling the injectors is a good idea, concerting the amount of time the tractor has been on it's side.

Thanks guys, that's great advise!! I thought about the oil possibly leaking into the cylinders, but I didn't realize the damage could be that severe. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I'll pull the injectors first thing tomorrow. The guy that will pull me out was going to come by tonight, but had an emergency and won't be by until the morning. I'm sure that if oil leaking past the rings can happen, it will happen after all this time. The nice thing is that we shouldn't have much of a problem getting her back on her feet.
Here's a pic of the monster that will do the job. Funny thing...it's only about 75 ft. from where my little Kubota is laying on her side. So close and yet so far!
