I've just taken delivery of my BX2350 with mmm and rear flail. A quick question I wonder if anyone can answer for me. When I lower the rear pto to use the rear flail the mmm also lowers and consequently flattens everything before the flail; gets to it. Do I need to take off the mmm or am I just doing something wrong? Also, is there any adjustment on the flail as I've a lot of small hidden stones.Unfortunately, the guy who delivered everything didn't supply instructions for the flail.

Thanks

Steve Williams

I believe you need to raise the MMM up and then put it in the lock position w/ the cutting height knob.
Then you should be able to lower your 3-pt w/out lowering the MMM.

exactly. it may go done a little, but should lock into the first (highest) setting of the height adjustment knob. that's how it is on my bx, anyway.

Steve: If your flail is like most, the rear roller will have position adjustment bolt holes. Then after selecting a cut height with that setting you use the 3pt. link length to roll the flail back on the roller. KennyV.
