Flow Restrictor for 3PL Tilt Cylinder

I just finished installing a top and tilt on my B3350. 2" cylinders from Surplus Center.

I made .032" restricter insert plugs for the rod end for both top link and tilt, pressed in and tig welded. Speed is reasonable (I wouldn't want it any faster), that and feathering the spool valve some allows accurate control. Didn't time it, but with tractor at high idle 1300-1400 rpm, I'm guessing the top link takes 2 to 3 seconds max for full travel.

I think will go with the needle valve option, that will give the best way to fine tune. One question regarding the valve recommended by J_J, you mention flow control in only one direction. I assume that that would not work with the tilt option as i want the restriction to apply to both "sides" of the tilt equally?

There is a needle valve that has adjustable flow in both directions.
