Griffin said:OK. The dealer gave me the wrong tool. I've got the right one now but I'm not sure about the top clutch pad. Which way is up? The clutch pad has a small rise at the center hole on one side (about 1/2"). Does this rise go towards the clutch assembly or towards the transmission? Or does it make any diiference?
hmm.. I've never put a clutch in a 3000.. though FWJ may have.
I can tell you though.. than on a ford N, the splinded hub IS offset with one side longer than the other.. and for a N.. the long side goes toward the tranny.
