Picked up the new truck yesterday.
I barely got to drive it, only home twenty miles from the dealer. We are out on a family camping trip and I drove the old truck with the camper and the wife drove the fifty miles to the lake with the boat behind the new truck. The pontoon is an easy pull, so I didn't feel bad about pulling it behind a truck with only 500 km.

Yeah, you'd hafta keep looking in the mirror to know the boat was still there!!! :)

I've got a 2014 F250 Super Cab. Really like the truck, but as stated elsewhere it has a stiff ride. Crazy as it sounds, when I ditched the Firestone Destination ATs and went with BFG All Terrain KO2 the ride did soften up just a bit.

I recently replaced tires on my '12 F350 SRW SB 4X4. I also chose the BFG All Terrain KO2 because they performed so well on my 2012 F-150 4X4. The original tires on the F-350 were Michelin highway tires and I got over 50k miles out of them. Great for towing but rough riding and not so good in winter. Don't have enough miles on the BFGs to say they are better or worse but so far I am liking them. They ride no worse. This will be my first winter with the new tires but I don't expect any problems. Truck rides a little rough unloaded but I bought it for towing not comfort.

Well have run bfg's on trucks at work, f350's, and are not getting good mileage from them. Had one in the shop yesterday, 16k miles on them, and it's getting new tires. All worn enough to warrant replacement, one has a broken belt. Not worth the high price. Beware...

they changed the compound in the BFG ats a couple years ago and they no longer do well on heavy trucks. i had a set i barely got 30K out of. i'm with greg, but hoping for the best for you

In the 70's we used BFG All Terrain on the F250 and were very satisfied... that is my only experience.

Today I happen to see two brand new Ford Pickups... a F450 and an F550... never seen an F550 pickup before... might be common elsewhere but not in San Francisco.

I can only imagine what the tag fees are on those!

If you decide on BFG AT's be aware that they pick up every single rock the can find and sling it on your truck. Say bye bye to your pant job if the tires stick out any or you don't have any wheel well covering. The one set I had of them was enough for me simply because I have a gravel driveway and that's a big no no with these tires. I'm NITTO all the way nowadays.

Well, have the truck a bit of a workout today. Pulled the camper (6000 pounds loaded) 1000 km on the beginning leg of our family vacation. Wow what a comfy vehicle to drive and pull with. Effortless is a good description, as it Took about as much effort to drive as our minivan.
The best part of the diesel wasn't the power up the hill, it was the way it holds us back going down the hill. The last six miles coming into the town we are camping at are 8% grade. Just tap the brake a few times and it downshifted to 3rd, slowed to 50km/HR and held it the whole way down without applying the brakes. The camper in front of me had his brake lights on the entire descent.
