Great idea! I have forks, however much less grand. I have a simple 3 point attachment for my tractor that is better than sliced bread. Now that I feel old, everything that I own that is heavy is on pallets. My fence posts, wire, lumber, dam horse hay, hell everything that I don't want to strain my back on is on pallets. I even have made some three-sided firewood bins out of pallets that I use to stack firewood in. When it's time to cut firewood, I just pile it into a bin and leave it to dry. When winter rolls around, I just back a bin of firewood on to the back porch and I don't have to stack and re-stack firewood all of the time. When the wife says the horse is hungry, I just pick up a pallet of hay and deliver it to the hay-burners barn. I have to say the three-point forks are one of my favorite attachments. The best part is they are dam cheap, only $120 at the local tractor dealer.

Excellent work Nick you must be proud of it. I'm admiring it from a safe distance though /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was thinking about getting some humble 3PH pallet forks /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif for my BX2200 but man o man you have an awesome setup there.

Is that a custom grille guard also, it almost looks like you beefed it up with 3 of them in a row there /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif ?

WDN, thought I'd attach a couple of pictures of a set of 3 pt. forks that I made for my BX2200....even put wheels on it to assist moving it around the shop when not in use. I'll attach the other picture to the next reply.

Here's a picture of the Forks standing up resting on the wheels. Makes moving them around a Breeze.

I don't see an attachment. It was probably bigger than 100k.

WDN,

Thanks. Yeah, I am pleased with it so far. It has been a tremendous help with the garage assembly. Still waiting on the remotes for the tractor, then it will be real nice. I have had a lot of help on the garage, when there is work to be done from the bucket or forklift, I have someone drive the tractor with me up in the air (yes I have been in the air on a pallet on the forklift, one has to have faith in ones work), but I will not let anyone actually operate the forklift but me. To dangerous, ESPECIALLY if I am up in the air.

Not sure what pic you are referencing about the grill guard, but that is the standard guard. Someday, I'd like some expanded metal or perforated metal on it, but not yet.

Nick
