Yep, that is why I switched back to the old design. That plus the new design doesn't show "My Profile" which I use a lot.

How do you stay the old way?

What happened to the "My Profile" I used it to find my old replies to see if someone else replied and I missed it in Today's Post.

I tried the new format. Switched back to the old. I check this thread when it pops up thinking maybe the problems are being resolved. Obviously not.

I thought the purpose of this thread was for resolution of operational problems?? Guess not.

From what I understand, they are working on the 3rd iteration of the new skin and that will fix these problems, but they won't be fixed till that happens.

Yeah, I'm sure they are working on it. Just is disappointing that the R&D is done by the users. Most of the problems that are being complained about should have never been in existence when the first iteration was put on here for our opinions.

Kinda reminds me of Caterpillar letting the buyers of their new joystick grader do the R&D. :(

No one was forced to use the new format. It was your choice. Muhammad even offered a way to go back if you didn't like it.

Kinda reminds me of the saying, No Good Deed Goes Unpunished.

Mike, I don't feel forced.

With that said, I don't see offering a new format with so many obvious deficiencies as a Good Deed. Again, Muhammad is using everyone that offers an opinion as a guide to what needs fixed, rather than dedicating more time and effort to resolve the issues before debut. It's his decision and choice.

If I offered you an attachment for your tractor that had obvious deficiencies what would your comments be?

Perhaps you should go back to the current format and wait until the new format is moved into production, i.e., what you said in Post #32.

Me too. I'll just stay out of this until the dust settles. :(

While a few problems have been found and fixed, much of what people are pointing out is simply what they like/dislike about the new format,

We haven't made any updates to the new theme in about a month. There is a bunch of stuff on the to-do list that will be addressed all at the same time since that's how we've been working on this project--in chunks.

The reason for allowing users to test the new theme was not about users doing our work for us as much as it was to see if we were on the right track with the update or if there would be widespread panic and rejection. We've done a number of these updates over the years and after the last one, the feedback we received was that we should have let people test it out first before launching and reacting to bug reports.

We'll probably roll it out on a permanent basis in the fall. Maybe sooner if we can get everything done to our satisfaction.

I hope you can eliminate the double posts and and do a resize on the way too large pictures that are uploaded now.

And fix the sideways and upside down pictures.

We need an update on the Forum Update. :)

Is there a list of changes?

Or make a Sticky Thread for suggestions.
