Forum Upgrade - Any Issues?

This is an older IE but its not arcaic? THERE IS A PROBLEM with this new software. I had ZERO issues before, well if there was one it was not big enough to stick out at me. This new system is screwed up all over the place, hence 56 pages of it, and still VERY FEW things HAVE BEEN CORRECTED!!
Your issues seem to be browser related as I have not seen those issues since the first week or so (using Firefox 3.6+ or Chrome) on any of the 4-5 computers I access TBN from. What version of IE are you using?

I finially looked up how to capture screen images, which is the reason i am posting them back to back. THIS is what im talking about when i say the quick navigation drop down menu is screwed up!!! Only this bad at work on IE7, at home on 9, only the RED "Help" button appears over the menu? screen.JPG

I have a real hard time posting pics now, just getting too complicated to bother with it anymore.

This is my screen capture from the Yanmar forum. WHY is there all the blank space below the gry bar, WHY is is shifted so far right, WHY does the Ad appear over the end of thread lines so i cant tell who responded (well i can only because i recognize most of the common posters and recognize them from just a few letters)?
Based on your screenshot, I would say that these issues are because you are using IE7.
IE (versions of IE before IE8 were worse) have all kinds of issues with CSS and aligning of page elements not working like it does on other browsers.
We ran into that at work on a website that is much smaller and less complex than TBN and it took weeks for our web guy to get everything working passably under IE 7/8/9. Still somewhat broken, but (for us) it is in the "known issues" category.
Some of the issues are explained at css - Website works great in everything but IE7, - Stack Overflow

If possible, I would upgrade to IE8+, Firefox or Chrome. Doing that will greatly improve your browsing experience and reduce your chances of exposure to malware.

Thanks AZ. I work for a government agency. They have told us were are not to upgrade, well we cant anyway downloading and installing things are blocked. But they said there are known "bugs" with IE9 and it opens us up to more "venerability" than what were using. Bottom line the newer versions have not be approved. We are to have new pc refresh soon, not sure what well get or have loaded at that point?

Well out the door to check on some folks.

Odd that they say that IE9 is less secure than IE7 though, everything I have read says otherwise...
Anyways, if you are getting a refresh, you will probably get IE8 or IE9 on Vista or Win 7.

Ahhhhhhhh...there's your problem. You're spending time (taxpayer dollars) on TBN during working hours!!

Using Windows 7, Chrome, this is what the John Deere Owning/Operating Forum home page looks like.

I don't see these display issues on other forums (for example John Deere Buying/Pricing forum homepage comes up without these display errors).

Interesting. I am seeing that as well (Firefox 13.0 on Win 7 x64), but I don't see the issue on other forums (such as the Yanmar Forum).

SHHHHH. Roy. I have a feeling there are a few of us here on TBN.

Plus with no authorized overtime, you dont get paid all those days that it just happens your here more than 8 hours. What about all the phone calls i take at home, or the time on vacation when i take off i still answer calls, or the saturday or sunday i have to drop in to get something done.

I know your kind of poking but im proving a point.
