Can we all agree that Animal Planet isn't political? I think both of these are spot on. For what that's worth.

Not generalizing, but you can say that about ANY breed that has enough strength to hurt a human being.

Rocky Dog... One of the best companions I have ever known; part GS, Sharpei, and Carolina Dog. He DID NOT like strangers of any sort, children, and pretty much any other dog ... Needless to say we kept him under control constantly. That being said, I can't tell you how many people would want to pet him when we were out for walks. I would make it clear he didn't like strangers, so please stay away. Most morons would reply, "oh no, all dogs love me". Many walked away counting their fingers...

My dog is a born, bred dog for a certain purpose, the rest "my buddy" comes as a plus . . . one must know the capabilities of your animal . . .

I have two dogs that could hurt a person now. They never have. That said, I know they could. They are treated as such when socializing with new people.

You would think that if a dog went into a house and attacked a little girl, it would make the news. So far, no news source provided.

I thught if a news story contained a minor in it they wouldn't publish the minors name? I did a general search and came up with nothing.

The article not only has her name, but shows her picture as well.

I've read articles where the gun in question was described as a glock. When I finally saw the pic of the gun in question, it was actually a revolver. I've also seen pictures of "pit bulls" in the press that leave me shaking my head wondering if I can get some of the good dope those reporters are smoking when they call some of these dogs "pit bulls".

Hopefully you get my point per what people say in the news vs reality. Pictures generally don't lie (unless they're photo shopped LOL).

Can't speak for dogs, but when it comes to guns, I do believe there is some truth in it
