The mom had left the garage door up for visitors. Guests enter their home thru the garage and mud room. The dog CAME IN THE HOUSE and attacked the girl in the mud room. The mother and a guest lady literally choked the dog off the child and the mother carried the thrashing biting dog to the door and threw it outside. The muscles in the child痴 left leg are 壮hredded? Don稚 know if she will ever walk properly again.
The dog is a Pitbull mix and was collared but no name or tag.
I am so sorry about this, we had a german shorthaired pointer that used to jump into our farrowing pens and grab lil pigs and eat them, one day while i was doing chores the dog jumped into the pen, grabbed a pig inside and was met at the door by momma, he dropped the piglet, momma bit him and drew blood, he escaped over the fence and stood in the middle of the hog lot, i had just gotten over the fence with a bucket of feed and water and i had an old dipping can in the bucket of feed, i grabbed it and threw it at him and hollered get out of here, he was about 30 yds away so the can only flew about half way to him, he looked at me and then turned in full charge and launched off the ground and attacked me, all we could figure is he was in shock from waht just happened from the sow biting him and turned on me, i was 14, i was a stout farm kid and always had a stick close by, my sister was helping me with chores too as my dad never let us get in with the hogs w/out someone else and a stick/club.
He wrestled wtih my arm as that is what he latched onto when i naturally blocked my face when he leaped at me, i had to pry his mouth off my arm but, my sister had a hold of his collar and when i got free i turned to get away and he got loose from her and grabbed my calf, he had leverage on the ground and wrenched on my left like a squirrel in his mouth back n forth.
my sister and i beat on his head with our sticks and i had to pry his mouth off my leg, this time he did not pursue me when my sister had a hold of him, he never offered to bite her - I made it to my gmas house and my sister ran to get mom.
long story short, i ended up with 26 stitches in my arm and leg from the wounds, my calf muscle has strings of muscle hanging out of the bite holes like you are describing from this girls injuries. My leg healed up with 4 nickle sides indentations that the muscle did not fill back in BUT, it hurt and cramped a lot for a yr or so. It finally settled down and I played sports and its been good for 40 yrs since with no big issues.
I hope she recovers as well as I have.
