IF tractor has a "open differential" in front axle this might be normal.....

An open differential applies equal power to both sides. If one side has less traction, that wheel will spin, and it will appear that the other side isn't getting any power. I reality, both sides are getting equal power. It's just that one side doesn't have traction. It's just like one wheel on your car spins on ice.

No. On Limited slip, both wheels would turn.

Thanks for sharing those, both were great. I wondered all along how a limited slip differential works. Now I know...

Basically, when you hit your Differential Lock, you are making your own limited slip differential (for the back wheels). A lot of CUT owners don't know they have it, or how it works.

Back in the old days, we would press on the brake of the spinning wheel to apply more load to that side, so the other side would get more power.
