Regular gas 87oct $3.19 this evening. Was $2.95 yesterday, wish I had fueled up then. Oil spot market price dropped a couple bucks/barrel in the last 24 hours.
Diesel prices here are $3.79-3.89 at most stations, but a few truck stops are more like $3.55 if you know where to go. I have found that the price range of diesel is much wider than the price range for gasoline.

In Northern IL gas was 3.11 and the same station had diesel at 3.79.
If this diesel price premium continues it will be interesting to see how this impacts the Honda diesel car program in the US. Supposed to be out in 2009. I wonder about VW too.

Yesterday the TV news quoted the latest fuel prices in France as 1.24 euro/liter for gasoil (that's what they call diesel here) and 1.37 euro/liter for gas. I didn't catch wither that was average or highest price. But that translates into $7.13 a gallon for diesel and $7.88 a gallon for gas.

One the way home from work last night, diesel was $3.69.
On the way into work this morning it is $3.90.

Bought 5 gallons of Off-road (tractor diesel) yesterday (3-5-08).
$3.50 gallon.

Saw 2 stations on the hywy $3.959 for diesel. Ventura county CA.
