fuse holder and switch search

trying to find the supplier for this switch with fuse assembly for a light, attempting to install rear work light and use
oem switch in the roof of the mauser cab on a JD 1025R,
price from supplier is not even comprehensible, possible language barrier!
here is the holder, and a pic of a switch in it's holder.. the holder contains the fuse.

Looks like aftermarket may be the way to go. You can get pretty nice fuse boxes from the marine industry.

JD can't get it for you??.. it seems they should be able to!..

If its not paramount to have the exact switch, go to FLAPS (Friendly Local Auto Parts) and get inline fuse holder and a generic rocker switch (with lED indicator) fabricate nice cover plate for old switch hole and mount new switch in cover plate....

totally unusable, ask a moderator why your link didn't post, maybe MossRoad? replace the ************ with the word 'green tractor talk' as one word with no spaces. Apparently TBN blocks that site's name.

Nice idea. Beats digging around in a fuse block. I also like the relays with attached blade fuse holder.

Mayb it's an OEM thing. I looked on E-Bay and could find nothing like it. It would have been even better if they just shortened up the rocker switch to make the whole thing fit a standard Cole Hersey type opening.

I did find this at the other place, even with a manufacturer name. come to find out these same switches
are used in some Gator (Mauser made) cabs.. but pricey! $59 list for the switch and fuse holder.
thanks for the info, i was late returning to the thread.

we are going to just order in the Mauser rear led light kit, and use everything but the light (customer
provided his own bar style light).

A light switch for NH or CIH is $84. That makes the $59 price seem "reasonable". I was adding a switch to my dash and planned to use one to match the existing switches, until I priced them. I ended up using a generic switch for a fraction of the cost.

the switch is available on ebay, but delayed shipment from overseas... maybe we should buy a dozen and keep them on hand!

I am alwsya buying stuff from China. Bought a Cole Hersey Style LED rocker switch some time ago. I couldn't for the life of me figure the connections out and of course there was no documentation. Finally realized it had a regular bulb, not LED! Refund, no problem. Some of the descriptions are hilarious. One amp panel meter today is described as having no Fever!
