Eddie, You may have a plan for all this, but I don't remember reading what your plans are. I know you'll come up with something.

I think I remember reading something about free loin cloths, spears, and face paint handed out at the registration gate.

Had a thrilling experience this morning. Our little dog, Junebug, was barking like crazy. My wife went out to see what the ruckus was. She called me urgently to come out. I figured Junebug had cornered an armadillo. But no! It was this young doe, not 35-40 yards from the front porch.

It was not afraid of the dog. She was barking and we were calling her, but it made little difference to the doe. Finally, the doe ran off aways, but came back soon after we got the dog inside.

Other family members have seen deer on our place, but this was the first my wife and I have seen. Just had to share.

Hehehe. Yeah, I bet that's true! Nice looking hounds. I'm not real up on my breeds, but are those Walkers? I love hounds. I had a Blue Tic that was about the best dog I've ever had. If he were still around, I'm sure we'd never see any wildlife around our place.

Can't complain about our little dog though. Never had a small dog before, but she showed up in the middle of our 55 acres about three years ago. She was emaciated, but brave. She's turned out to be an excellent dog. The only time she really gets ferocious is if another larger dog comes around for a visit. Man, she turns into a tasmanian devil! It's pretty humorous.

Yep, their walkers. Running walkers or walker foxhounds as opposed to treeing walkers or coonhounds. I've got 23 hounds not counting the litter of month old pups and we still see plenty of wildlife. Deer bed regularly 100 yards behind the kennels.

The hogs have really been active lately. I mean, VERY ACTIVE!!!

Here are a few of the hundreds of pictures the Game camera has taken of them over the last few days. They are all daytime pics and massive numbers of hogs. The ones with stripes on them are piglets and pretty small, but there are a few boars following them around too.

The white one is just a little boar and when the big boys show up, they run him off every time. He squeals like he's scared out of his mind when it happens!!! hahaha

It really is allot of fun to watch them.

Next Saturday , we're having a Fathers Day party and maybe Steph's brother will finally get his first hog. We'll see.

Great pics Eddie. Funny, but I haven't seen any signs of hogs near our place this year (yet). I guess they are enjoying all this rain and staying in the river bottom.
