Looking for some advice on repairing this discbine. I think the frame is twisted and the spring tower definitely needs some welding. I don’t think this gap which is wider on the far side and narrower on the side closer to the camera is a normal thing and is a result of somebody probably hitting something hard in the field at some point. I was thinking about chaining the top corner of the frame to a tree, and then pulling the bottom corner with a winch to adjust the frame back to what would be closer to normal. On welding the support I’m not sure if I should just bang it back into place and then weld it or if I should cut it off entirely and rebuild the whole thing from the ground up. Appreciate any advice and suggestions on how to fix this. Anyone run into this before? On a Gehl?

Seeing that it has been welded before and failed, it probably need to go into shop, old welds ground down, panels brought into alignment and rewelded and then a gusset plate or over lay of more metal to reinforce the repair.... Needs serious attention if implement has great value to you....

Looks like the axle mount is being forced up. Needs to be repaired where-ever the stress is in mind.

Unless it has some sort of intrinsic value to you, if it was me, I'd off it and buy a newer one. Discbines if working correctly and the header tension set correctly, all float over objects in the field unless the operator is a dork.
