Well, the "naysayer" is up in Canada. So he has no constitutional protection. The chances of him taking his loved ones out to shoot handguns are pretty darn slim.

Well, please don't lump us all in! I have guns and would love to have the option to carry. Sadly, it will never happen here.

My wife has pretty much been a natural from day one. With the 22 pistol as well as the 22 rifle. She was deadly with the old S&W 357. I would not want to be on the other end if she was shooting. We don't need a permit to conceal or open carry here. But there is absolutely no replacement for proper training. I personally don't carry a gun nor does she but after all the latest shootings and her being a school teacher as well as driving by herself a lot she has expressed interest in getting something to keep in the truck.

Ever shot any? Its rather fun wether you choose to every use one to defend your self or not. They can be just for fun, and that they are. Just cause you dont want to carry or even use your gun to defend your family if you are put in that situation (crazy) you can still enjoy a very fun and rewarding and confidence boosting hobby and all thats associated with it.

Oh yes, I understand that all Canadians do not see things the same. I just meant it would be difficult for a Canadian to even own a handgun let alone concealed carry. Legally anyways. I am also aware that your western provinces, political views are somewhat different than many of the eastern ones.
