House foundation looks good. Now to tear up the stone for waste lines.

Chilly in the house. Glad the ceiling fan isn’t running.
Will probably lay out a cabin site just to see how it looks. Debating taking the laser level.
I’m sure grass getting tall again.
I still would rather try to find a lot I like in WV.

Morning all, 55 going to 73 , had 3/4" rain last night. Feel like spring is back.
Did get the cable replaced on the pool robot, not too hard.
Wife wants me to make 2 Ash slabs for a serving table.
Chainsaw, circular saw and router all ready :)

Don - Homemade hotdogs, sounds like I could use those since the fat content could be made pretty low.

I do 7oz of RM43 for 2 gallons water and that seems to work well. I use my small 2 gallon sprayer for that, usually fill 2-3 times to get everything done. The 5 gallon sprayer is for the stiltgrass. The 16 gallon is for watering, dragged behind the lawntractor.

M7040 - you told him multiple times and tried to help. Now off to the next chapter. Hope he gets some sense and fixes the pond properly. Water surge and really tear up a driveway.

BEF - maybe set a timeframe for looking in WV so it doesn't drag out? then if you hit that time line move forward with the other property.

Popgadget- moving along nicely, good clean lines for the foundation. I think you have more Pex than home depot :)

Today maybe work on car mirror, and get back to garage work to reset door and find ratchet extension.

Be well,

6 screws and cable replaced on robot (picture is old cable). Moved one of the floats over from the old cable as that was a common complaint that the one tiny float on the new cable was not enough.

Good morning! 76˚F heading to the upper 80s, with a S wind and partly cloudy skies.

Mostly there are no casings they hold together good because before the grill they are rolled/wrapped in foil and steamed in the Instant Pot where they firm up. Kenmbz, there are no fats or oils added to the hot dogs.

Wood floor guy came still waiting on an estimate. I need to get rid of a desk in the old house, (Kyle, free wood desk 60"X30"?) the new office has a built-in double desk in the study plus it has a kitchen desk, so I will not be needing either of my current desks.

Please share that cooler weather guys, not ready for the heat.

Good Morning,
Ct 53 to start going to 70. Sun just starting to break out now ! Will leave for Vt later this morning ! Looks like a nice stretch of weather coming up !

Ron, beautiful picture thanks !

Mike, also a few beautiful shots !

Hope David gets some good mowing weather to test out his tractor!

Paul, construction looking good, will look forward to pex install pics ! If we lived full time in Vermont I would have put the pex flooring in, just didn’t make sense for a part time resident!

Hope all have a good Thursday! 🙏

The mist from adding water killed the 20 feet of Jasmine starting right behind the mixing table and then 18 feet along the fence to the right.
Well that sure gets my attention. I don't want to be inhaling any such mist when I add water to my sprayer ... hmmmm.

Headed to a sunny 80F. Back in NV-- working in CA wore me out.

Brought the Ventrac with me, and will mow the NV pasture today. After moving it I noticed a pool of hydraulic fluid under it. Agghh.

Some really great pix posted by multiple members-- thanks!!

Everyone have a great day !!!

Good Morning!!!! A very warm 73F @ 6:00AM. Sun and clouds mixed. High 96F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Weather guessers are predicting a slight cooling trend for the weekend up here, then into the frying pan for the following week. Back down south it'll still be highs in the 70s and misty/foggy mornings...

I wouldn't feel bad at all over any consequences your neighbor might suffer due to you finally bringing the matter to the attention of the officials, Frits. He's had more than enough time to remedy the problem, and you've bent over backwards to give him the opportunity to do the right thing.

Even before breakfast yesterday I had the big metal box full of wood chips dragged over to the little trailer, then just pushed it up the ramp with no help from the winch. Used the side-by-side and a web sling to do the dragging and even that went pretty easy once it got out of the deeper gravel. Scrounged up a bunch more stuff to load into the van, checked the air in all the tires and the oil, and am pretty much ready for the trip south today. What a difference a day makes.

Of course someone now wants to buy the 34' extension ladder I've had for sale for the past two weeks. Sorry, it'll go on "pending" status until I get back. And the fellow up in Oregon says he's ready to ship that old broken motorcycle engine now, and seems in a bit of a hurry to do so. I'm tempted to make him wait another two weeks until I get back up here to save me 425 miles of trucking, but I'll run the numbers with two shipping firms to see. Not gonna happen today, though.

Hang in there gang, Friday's comin'!

had to come in, noise of bulldozer next door was a bit much
getting a better idea on why sand mounds cost so much

kinda bummed out, my laptop has bit the dust.
when I went on my trip I ran the battery almost all the way down.
when I went to charge it when I came home, the red light was still on.
figured it was charger, invested 13 bucks in another charger, same result.
So either a broken charging port or dead battery.
I'm guessing the latter.
looked it up on Amazon, 2017.
time for a new one, want this one to be 4k
I like my Qwerty keypad and mouse, not accustomed to touch pad.

this last laptop was an Asus. One before a Dell. One before an Acer, etc.

I give my old computers to a friend who wipes the disk and moves it along the chain to the next
low cost/no cost user. But this one now won't turn on at all. And won't charge. Still has a red light going on it.
really don't want to spend much time on a 7 year old laptop. They are lighter now anyway.

67°F and .13 inches rain.

Never was dry enough to mow yesterday so tractor remains untested.

Friends arrived from Wisconsin. Nice dinner in town. Same friends were here when I took initial delivery of my tractor in 2019.

Does look like I’ll get a trial mow this morning

We host H&F this afternoon. chicken curry on the menu. Missed last week due to my dental.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
