There was a picture on our news last night that may interest some of you.
A bird watcher saw a weasel jump a woodpecker and got this shot as the woodpecker then took off with the weasel still trying to get a bite in.

Our local TV news station showed that picture last night, Eric! It's an international phenom!

Yes, we'll take all the rain, snow, and sleet we can get out here on the west coast. I heard on the news last night that January was the driest on record around here, and with no Sierra snow pack and reservoir capacities hovering around 50%, we're gonna see even worse water rationing and crop loss this year than last. I just hope my well doesn't go dry!

43 this morning and falling all day. Been raining all night. Rain changing to sleet then to snow. 2-3 inches of sleet then 8-12 inches of snow. Schools have already closed. They don't want to get caught in the transition. Don't blame them.

Have to take boy to the dentist today. First time. He has broken a tooth. We don't know how. Just making sure it's all out or atleast not going to give him trouble. I'm not worried about it he still has another set to get. But I would like to know how he broke it.

I will shave once it gets warm and starts to stay there. But I've had this beard since August.

Had a guy tell me once to wear a beard all year. He said it helps just as much in the heat as in the cold. I'm not 100% sure.

Good morning! March weather is here for a few hours. 64˚ foggy, heading to 70˚ and then the bottom drops out this afternoon with a norther with wind at 24mph, and by morning we will be in the 20s. I'll be outside either taking down fence or working the garden or adding sand to my road.

Eric I saw that pic on TV also yesterday. Who won?
