I got covid Arm. It's not supposed to be here this late in the game. I got my second Moderna shot 4 weeks ago and I now have a rash the size of a softball on my arm the center is where the injection was given. I don't know how long I have had it because I was not looking for it and have been wearing long sleeves. I was wearing short sleeves today and my wife noticed it. She says it looks like it is fading.
Did anyone else get covid arm?
My mom got a small rash. I won't tell her it's called covid arm. My wife and I are a week away from getting shot #2.

We thought my wife did, went back to the hospital where she got the vaccination, two nurses there, and a nurse from another doctor's office that was visiting the hospital that day, concluded that it was too far down the arm from the spot that was injected for the covid. So a steroid injection cleared it up in a few days. So we don't really know.

Good Morning.
It’s 52 on its way to 66. Not raining yet, but supposed to start soon, with a good chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.
Be curious to see how well the Tempest lightning detection works.
Parts for the Davis rain gauge are still not here, so I can’t compare the rainfall amounts yet.

Yesterday’s trip to Hilton Head Island went smoothly, but still consumed most of the day, so I didn’t get much else done. Wife got manure spread without getting stuck, so that’s progress.

Today will be a great day to spend in the shop and make some progress. Maybe even clean up some.

55 and thunderstorm outside...going to 79 with more rain and wind up to 40.

My morning outside chores are done, too...beat the rain.

After my last premium gas burner, 1972 BMW 2002, I swore I'd never buy another. So far, so good.

Bush hogged the remainder of the fields yesterday...been so wet they had a few soft spots, but I was careful. Ran one black snake out, and was careful not to pass by again until I saw it had made it to the woods. Saw lots of voles/field rodents. Although the ground was damp, the grasses were dry and dusty and it was windy, so had to cha ching the radiator and filter twice.

Drafted 2 baseball teams yesterday. Both leagues look like they will have tough competition. Mostly, Trey Mancini and Anthony Santander are favorites. I'll probably pick one more team.

It cost me 45 dollars to fill up the Audi's tank on the way home. Been a long time since it cost that much.
I'll get about 500 miles technically by that.
9 cents a mile for fuel. I'm guessing that's relatively cheap, compared to a pickup or one of Bill's big trucks.
But if I didn't use premium, my mpg drops between 1-2 mpg. Most of the time I still think premium is just a waste of money and they
should engineer the engine to run on regular.
If you have a Corvette or an AMG Mercedes or an M5 BMW, fine, you expect premium because all the emphasis is on max performance.
My new Honda truck which now is on global chip hold for a minimum of two weeks, or more..., runs fine on regular. So did my Subaru.
So did my Ram hemi, thank goodness.

But if it's German, they sure like their expensive fuels.
RNG, do any of your motorcycles require premium fuel?

Birds happily chirping and nice to hear the rain on the roof.
Everyone here this weekend has had at least first COVID shot, except me and my wife. My brother stopped by, he’s had 1 shot, rest had 2.
My BIL who had COVID had huge reaction to 2nd shot, fever, etc. he said it was like he had COVID again.

Good morning! 54 now, supposed to be about the same all day. Rained during the night.

Yesterday was a busy day. We worked outside all day. Garden is tilled. Even felt sorry for the old tiller - changed the oil, cleaned the air filter, and added grease to the chain case. Then helped the wife rebuild one of the outside enclosures so she can let the peacocks outside during the day. The old one was damaged by snow sliding off the barn roof. She patched it, limped it along for several years, but it is time for a rebuild. Not done, but made decent progress.

Of course, the geese hung out and “ helped” us work on the enclosure. They can’t be left out of anything that goes on. And 4 ducks helped till the garden. The tiller running doesn’t bother them.

A friend rode his Ducati out and visited for a bit, then supper, then some clearing of the flower beds around the house. I was tired last night

Gave up on getting thru to tech support for the internet, scheduled a call back for Monday. No doubt that will be painful. It works, just cycles thru a reboot on a regular basis. Was working fine until the wind storm. No doubt tech support will blame the modem.

Almost everyone I know that has gotten a vaccination has had a reaction. Mostly Pfizer in this area. A woman at work has a lump on her arm for the past 3 weeks where she got the shot, about every 3 days she goes thru a period of being extremely tired and chills. She has been told it is one of the reactions. I still have anti-bodies from my bout last winter....so not scheduling a shot.

Everyone stay safe out there.

My BIL who had COVID had huge reaction to 2nd shot

I have heard that you get a really good immune response to one shot if you have had covid 19 but it is too complicated to figure out who to give one shot and who to give two.
I keep hearing stuff about cold viruses interfering with sars cov2 virus but I can't imagine how you use that.

Thanks Chris wife still has no reaction ours was Pfizer

   / Good morning!!!! #130,618
seems simple to me, if you have some reaction it's clear your body is reacting and hopefully
successfully preparing its antibodies. I'd be more worried if I hadn't felt anything at all.
I had a quarter size sore spot for a day, that's all. I did make sure to drink green tea that afternoon as I had read.
That hydrating might help with the headaches some had.

.35 inches of rain and coming down pretty steadily.
looking out the window at my little garden with the potatoes and onions planted, sending karma
to the potatoes to keep their heads down until next weekend. Potatoes are pretty durable though, most will come back after a freeze,
but always wondered if it stunted them some how.
