I got lucky and got a whole hour long nap, marvelous. Local storms, poured pretty well for awhile.
Passed the garden club ladies, phew
Trying to decide whether to watch a movie or read my book.
Movie first, if no good, well, the book is...guy picks up a hitchhiker
outside the local diner, turns out he's an alien with a crashed space ship.
Normal sci fi stuff...

for those of you who own Subaru Outbacks with a cvt trans, received official letter from Subaru
yesterday on a 2016 Outback, which I no longer own, extending the warranty on the CVT trans alone to 5 years and 100K
miles. Not a recall...I wonder if to quell concern vs other makers with longer warranties. I never liked the transmission but
it always worked flawlessly for me.

Eric, you have a newer one I thought, did you get a letter?

I always wondered how much more, or less, expensive is a CVT to do a major repair
on vs today's current 8 to 10 speed computerized transmissions.

If you own an Outback (other Subarus?) might be interesting to ask your service tech next time it's in, any TSB's on this transmission?
It's all Nissan uses today, not sure about Toyota.

Drew, I told you about my son and daughter in law’s situation with her Outback, and Subaru refusing to address it, before you bought yours.

Hmm, I should have got some photographic corroboration. I was looking for "stoic" in a wooden indian warrior. The only bust available was of a 90 year old squall with a stroke, who needed some clothes badly. I'll take the investigation rather than the nightmares.

Old member checking in. I知 going to try to post a photo of our new place outside of Denison Texas, We call it Thereabouts, between Memory Ln and Reality Ln, closest town is Cherry Mound, closest town with a store, Denison.

I致e tried to post photos with dialog on IRV2 and had no success because my Internet service is 4GLTE. If this makes it through the internet minefields I will probably start a thread about living the dream.
