My Acurite says 114˚, the car says 104˚, The old bulb mercury says 103˚.

All I know is when I went outside to feed horses just now, it was like walking in an oven. I don't mind the heat, but this is too much.

I did get to mow early this morning. The short yard is the last defense line in case of a fire. I knocked down a few weeds and moved a lot of dust.

Mow self? I think they call that "manscaping."

Well I'm not a doctor but I hear there is this thing that improves circulation without any negative side effects. I believe it is called "exercise" or some other foreign term. Ain't never tried it myself except by accident.

I'm fairly active, although most of my work life is sedentary. Podiatrist wants to see me again, so I have an appointment tomorrow.
I'm curious if the pulse in my foot has improved.

Best part of this is not having that "cattle prod" in the sole of my foot every 30-45 minutes at night. I can actually sleep a straight 6-8 hours...that's a wonderful feeling!

Must be a relief equal to having an abscessed tooth pulled.
I'd find a way to keep moving at work or quite work rather then sacrifice the toe to the job.

Drove threw that area when we left your place last year. Seemed like we drove for miles to get out of the project. My thoughts, way to many seniors in one area. Look for shortages of things/services that seniors need. :confused2:

Viagra, Geritol, Polygrip, Hair Dye, what else??? :)

Years ago, my friend's mom passed away and his dad moved into a senior only nice condo complex. While visiting his dad, he noticed the latest sports illustrated swimsuit issue on the coffee table. He said, "Dad, I didn't know you subscribed to Sports Illustrated"? to which his dad replied "I didn't, one of the ladies here brought it by as a gift and she said if it stirs something up, Come up and see me!"

I laughed so hard, I almost spilled my beer when I heard it.

Kyle, I was thinking the same thing - what's going to be in short supply?

Whipper told me that there was thunder in Giddings when she came to back door and wanted in. I looked on the radar and saw yellow and red in Giddings - did that one small isolated shower hit you.
