52 going to 66, and just finished getting an unexpected hard rain. Happy November and clock change day.

Glad I got leaves mulched in the front yard with the mower yesterday...was trying to beat tonight's rain and not mow on Sunday.

Also cut probably 200 pine tree saplings and sprouts growing in a pasture. Used the blade on the string trimmer, just seems the bush hog doesn't cut all of them close enough to the ground to keep the lowest branches from growing back into a little pine shrub. I guess I could lower the bush hog, but there are some dips and rises on the hill so I fear bottoming it out. Now that the grass has browned, it was easy to find the pines, and a few oaks, cherries and gums.

Good morning, 50F here, heading toward 61F.
A light rain fell last night on the Trick or Treaters but we got 21 kiddies. May not sound like much but it is a lot when you compare it to the 3 we got last year.

It is 69 going to 89... IT"S NOVEMBER!!!! 89 degrees is to much

Took a look yesterday, and I have grass growing in both pastures I planted last month, now if I knew how to tell the difference between rye and Bahia would probably be good. We are leaving soon to pick up our new cow.

Buppies, I understand the carbs, but why the red meat?

Glad I got all of lawn and more leaves remove yesterday...7 hours.
Took my bride out to fancy dinner for her birthday...I score lot of points for that. :)

Today take Mrs. food shopping than some puttering until darkness arrives around 5pm,might catch little of the race.

Enjoy the day all.

Good morning, everyone.

59 and raining. Yes, raining. Again. Weather forecast said it would all be gone yesterday. It cleared out in the afternoon, so this is a bit of a surprise. About .2" in the guage this morning, and it's still sprinkling. The PLAN was to harrow the top pasture and put down the rye seed. Not sure if it will be firm enough to harrow. Don't want damage what I'm trying to enhance.

More rain predicted for Wednesday.

There are studies that suggest it red meat can cause diabetes. With me it causes my sugar level to go up as does black coffee but not diet Mountain Dew go figure. Have had this since 2002 when cataracts showed up at an early age which led to checking my sugar levels. At that point my average level was 575 way too high

I'm afraid you all will get rain about every three to five days until March

An unusual pattern, but after 2011-2014, and this past summer, it's going to help the ground to "heal", so I'm not complaining. I prefer green grass to brown.

Good Morning. 0845, rain, 80F with 88% humidity. Forecast high of 83F with 40% chance of rain today, and a low of 73F tonight. {lower humidity while it's raining than I get most mornings} Since I transplanted collards and broccoli yesterday, a little rain would be welcome, but it's been coming down at a good clip since I've been up. I'm donning my sandals and raincoat to see if they have drowned, then a hot shower and off to work.

You guys have a good one,

Larro
