Never really owned a cool car, well maybe my 70 GTO, 2nd brand new car. But I did have a 20+ year love-hate relationship with a 77 MGB. Boy if that car could talk, it tolerated all my marriages and lots of dating.

... very nice bike, but not in the same category as my '85 Honda Goldwing.

My current bike is an '85 Goldwing Interstate. Had it for a long time now, and put a lot of miles on it. It's getting long in the tooth, though, and I call it the 'Oldwing now. I keep threatening to sell it and get a newer one, but we just haven't been riding much in the last few years. Didn't ride at all last Summer. It will undoubtedly be another Goldwing. Not going to spend $30K on a new one, but would at least like something made in this century.

Last time I was at Don's. 2016. Those ruts were still there.
Memory ruts.:D

Kyle I don't think Grandpa would have an elaborate salad chopper. To castrate his pigs he use a rubber band, a five gallon bucket and a pocket knife. The bucket was use to put the pigs head in during the procedure while he held the hind legs.

the Tractor saga continues. I inquired about who used the tractor Saturday and put it back muddy and found out it was the guy I'm trying to get hold of. After emailing him and leaving messages on his phone and getting no response I thought he was out of town. Then I found out he NEVER answers e-mail or returns calls. So today after doing the maintenance of the other equipment I jumped on the tractor and started it up and raised and lowered the FEL and the box blade. I would have taken it for a spin but the Gator was parked behind me and I had to get to trail blazers. Soon, very soon, I'm taking it for a joy ride!!!!:D

Walked outside with my morning coffee and noticed this. Is it not January?

Sounded and felt like a big jet at the airport except the wood blinds were vibrating. The rumble lasted a couple of seconds, vibrating not that long. I have felt quakes that were more obvious. My property is on top of the Paleo Channel and water doesn’t transmit the feel as well as bedrock. It fairs a lot worse in a quake, but doesn’t have the feel in distance the solid stuff does.

of all the cars you've owned, which one would you like back in your "spare" garage right now?
Not for money or profit, but just the one that made you feel the best and was the most fun to drive.

Quiet before the storm here in the north-northeast: sunny days approaching 30F, nights in single numbers. A few inches of snow forecast for Thursday/Friday, varying calls for Sunday for either 12 inches +\- snow or a mixed snow/ice/rain event.

I enjoyed a 64 Pontiac Catalina Convertible 383. It was a huge car, sweet comfortable well suspended ride, plenty of power, I would drive that car for hundreds of miles exploring the white and green mountains of NH and VT in the early seventies. A buddy and I slept in it one night in a northern VT field on the return from a Montreal bar hopping trip. He took the spacious rear seat and I stretched out across the front.

Those sixties and early seventies cars were special. I learned how to drive in a Karmann Ghia and a 66 Mustang 289 Fastback but I had the most fun in that Catalina!

The 99 BMW K1200LTC motorcycle was the most fun to ride: comfortable, 100+ hp 4 cyl, 6 cd stereo surrounded with speakers, heated seats and grips, reverse, abs brakes, power adjustable windshield, plugs for heated clothing. It was a two wheeled luxury sports car that I rode for 70k miles in 5 years!

My favorite motorcycle was my 82 V45 Magna, I loved the styling, it had about 80 h.p., 6 speed, shaft drive, liquid cooled, pull back bars. I had bigger and faster bikes, like my GSX 11, And some others, but that Honda was just sweet.

Good evening all. 37F this morning, overcast, calm wind. Sky remained overcast all day, winds light and high temp of 48F. did go to town to run more errands, missed riding window, did get a nap. Did get a dog walk in as well.
Looks like Ron made the ID on the mystery farm implement of Don's family.
PJ, rn into a lot of IT issues because old machine controls, ie would only support thicknet network connections etc, Was alwas one of the more challenging/rewording parts of the job.
Don sounds like you are close to your end goal.:cool2:
My cars were projects to see how many miles I could get out of them for how little money.
prayers for all.

26 and going down to a high of 16°F. Wind WNW 22 gusting to 31 mph. "Periods of snow" is what they are saying.

We've got about 3" on the ground so far.
I think I know what I will be doing for a few hours this morning. Plowing.
I've got nothing else planned, other than conserve energy.

Have a good day all

22 and clear and dark going to 45. Lots of stars out when I took the woodstove ashes out to the pit.

Happy Anniversary, Buppies and Mrs. 42 years is special.

BEF, I saw that Earthquake map, too, but didn't feel anything here last night.

Don, I think sitting and starting the tractor counts as seat time! I hope you have smooth sailing as you continue the quest.

Everything is still snow covered except the roads. Been on a couple of hikes and have never seen so many fox and squirrel tracks...good thing (for the squirrels) that they occupy the same space at different times of day.
