I think kids were more in to Psychedelic rock at the time (1960's) and this was closer to Christian/Country rock. I was 18 when the album was released...more into country rock (hadn't discovered pot and other delights of the times) then...
This was also the time when longhaired hippies were frowned upon by most adults. I was never a hippie and never had long hair...I was also drafted (but enlisted in the Navy) later...
In the sixties I was more into classical and country. Born in late 1946. I really didn't get 'into' rock until the eighties.
I wasn't a hippie then, but I am now. My barber died (RIP) 10 years ago.

I’d have to say the Grateful Dead were aware of all the goodies in the world and they did Folk/country/ blues. Genres of music were as mixed up then as they are now.

Scrambler. Welcome to GM at TBN.

Due to a leak, i have to replace the high pressure propane line from tank to house, 41 feet of which is under my concrete driveway. Line will be replaced will gas type poly. While I know I can cut and patch, that is my last choice, hence my attempts to install the under.
Coincidently, I ‘m installing a propane genset in my tractorshed. LP dealer suggested running new line from tank, hence my recent success of getting 18 ft run under a different section of drive, but to same tank. Hope that helps 🤙

Somewhat productive day.
As for lessons learned from my previous LP line, driving with 20lb sledge is not kind to the pipe, even less kind to me.
Using the backhoe to press pipe into place is easiest, but also susceptible to operator error, probably more so in confined space. I have only 8ft of working space. My current plan for involves using a screw jack to press the bare 3/4 pipe from house to tank area under the drive. A bit tedious as I can only advance less than 2 feet at a time. It seems, using various lengths of pipe between wall and 3/4 target pipe should work, actually, i did have proof of concept today advancing 1st section a few inches. I need to determine proper lengths for stability, but done for today other than the mental part. Tomorrow is another day.

In the 90s today.
Yesterday I did maintenance on the garden tractor and found a missing locknut on the box blade with the end result a crooked 3 pt connection. Every thing is greased and ready to work.

I’ve move from 64th place to 49th place in the quarterfinals card games with 6 more weeks to go. The top 10 is considered pro.
Hope everyone had a relaxing Sunday!

During my time in AK (1 week in Kotsebue and 1 wk in Nome) Deet was all the worked. Went to Ambler for a day but the fishing was not good enough for us to brave the mosquitoes.
Happy 40th anniversary Mr and Mrs Claye!.

Got some more mower quotes from Messick. Got to decide what to do.

ferris IS700 and kubota Z421 about same price, the ZD1211 double the price.

Looks like this kubota has sealed spindles, no grease fittings. Not sure i like that. Just cant justify the diesel mower price.

Thundering in the distance. Radar shows fast moving storm will hit soon.

Some if the garden weed blocker blew already. Need more staples.

I wonder if a hydraulic setup like this would help?

I have a junior version and it's been surprisingly useful.

WOW! It sure is warm out. 52 °F, we re above the forecast high for the day. Only supposed to get up to 48. Wind SW 11 mph. Still raining pretty steady.

It sucks for people that have cottages. This is the traditional weekend to 'open up' the cottage for the summer. Then the rain pees down all weekend. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and most of the 'cottagers' have to travel back to the city.

I think today will be a conserve energy day.

Have a good Monday all
