82F with bright sunshine @ 12:45, calling for a high of 87F today. Tomorrow is supposed to be slightly warmer.

Still pretty pleasant here in the house ... but I can tell it's going to be warm inside later. May need to fire the AC ...

Woman just came in and reported that She has finished (according to Her) "the preliminary weeding" of the northwest planting bed ...

Is now inquiring as to whether there is any weed killer mixed up, as the the winds are apparently low.

Finally broke down and ordered Her a new keychain - AND an Apple Airtag - after Her car keys were mislaid for the umpteenth time over the last week. Still haven't been able to locate them and it's going on three (?) days now ... Should be here tomorrow.

Probably need to make a run down to the Ace Hardware and have a new key made, will use that opportunity to pick up some more seeds.

Need to dole meds for this coming week.

Move Kubota MMM over here to the pavement by the house and get that put on so I can cut down the food plot/pumpkin patch.

Blade sharpener is on the Amazon truck and out for delivery. Will commence to sharpening blades once that arrives, probably later this evening.

It's recycle week so those will need to be carted up to the can along with the garbage.

Remove new t-posts from the van and get them moved up to the shop so their ends can be cut at a 45 degree angle.

Mix up weed juice for sprayer.

Get boards cut for decking on industrial shelves.

Never a shortage of things to do ...

Hope everyone has a thoughtful Memorial Day, remembering those that have served, especially those that paid the ultimate price ...

Here in SW MI, had a flight of 4 p51's fly over us. I'm sure they took off from muskegon. Really cool seeing them

Afternoon all. We had a beautiful day!
Not only did we get to honor the vets that passed but they had a special guest at the ceremony. A 99 year old WW2 survivor! Still able to wear his uniform.
Got the garden leveled and most of the plants in the ground and watered. Need a break now so we will plant the seed items in the morning.

Good afternoon, warmer 80 now. The rain the rain did not come.

Worked on moving the firewood carts over on the ramp to block the neighbor as well as a shed for firewood. This blocks out the area where the neighbor cut down trees. Behind the fence is going up. Poles are in and reusing fence wire

. Utility staple gun in transit

Looks crappy but may encourage them to plant bushes or trees

77F clear whisper of wind.

Long busy work day,slowly going up the driveway notice something on the edge of the front field critter took one of my work boots from inside shed did little chewing on it.

Plans for the evening...Mrs. said don't be late for dinner at 6:30pm she grilling,odds aren't very good I'll be late.
Set on the deck wait for critter and stars,pillow time shall come early for out the door early AM.
