good morning all
should be a very nice day, sunny and high of 80
no plans for today other than taking lunch to handicapped friend whose wife is out of town.

Mostly, the drummer music doesn't bother me, actually like it, was never in a band, but can only imagine what lugging
that big drum around feels like on a hot day.

need to cut some more lettuce today, it's getting to the end.
not a big lettuce person but had a salad with it last night and it was good, romaine and bibb.
cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes all growing well, see lots of flowers
radishes were a complete bust this year, not juicy and lots were not well formed. Two good years and then
a bad one. oh well

before I plant next year's garden, going to dump a big bag of diatomaceous earth in there, get rid of the underground biters.

haven't heard from Scootr. Hope he's doing well.

Good morning, 60 going to 77 nice day in the FC. Yesterday we had a heavy thunderstorm with lots of rain and neighbors pond overflowed again after he had fixed it.
This time in a different location. Seems he fixed the original overflow spot but the overflow moved up to the next lower spot on the berm.

A delivery from Amazon was lost and requested a refund. This is the second shipment of gel cushions in for refunds. They must be the hot items to be swiped.

Doctor appointment for wife this morning

60 and feels good outside...humidity is breaking...up to 85 today...no rain likely, had a good one yesterday.

Kyle, would make a funny video. Glad you guys worked as a team and tackled the job(s).

Don, sounds like you are having fun exploring and learning your new place.

Good morning! 78˚F before sunrise, heading to the 90s. E wind chance of rain this evening.

Yesterday was a perfect holiday. In the morning while mowing the new yard the planes flew over and did the missing man formation, then we used the new outdoor kitchen to cook some plant based dogs and then went for a swim. It was like a staycation.

Today we meet the man who will give an estimate on redoing the wood floor in the bedroom. then we will solidify what day the movers will come.

Good Morning.
65° and the bright sun streaming in the window greeted me when I opened my eyes this morning. Supposed to stay that way and go up to just about 80 with a nice breeze. Just what we need to dry up yesterday’s rain. We got a bit more than 3/4” in on and off showers.

Sunday was a busy day, ended up mowing everything but inside the pastures after an enjoyable session with the boys making noise that resembled music.

We cooked out on the grill figuring Monday would be the washout that it was.

Yesterday started with repairing the implement that I fixed a day or two ago for my neighbor. This time he let me take the time and do it right. I made a new part and welded it on in a lower stressed area than where it broke, and added a gusset. (I made a quick drawing and cut the gusset out on the plasma table).

Amazon brought me a cheap POE camera to put up on the shop to view the construction site, it was a bit of a pain to get it to work with my Blue Iris camera software, but was ultimately successful. I got it working inside, and then ran the cable from the POE router to the outside wall where I wanted to mount it. In between showers, I got a ladder out and collected the required tools to put it up. Apparently, it came to life as soon as I plugged in the Ethernet cable.

Looks like the aim is good, I can see that they are out there stripping forms now.

I’ll have to put some ice in the cooler for their water as soon as I get moving.

Plan for today is go to the kitchen store and check out cabinets and appliances. We are pretty sure what appliances that we want, GE Cafe series gas cooking, Bosch dishwasher and Speed Queen laundry.
Hopefully make a Costco run as well.

Good Morning,
Ct, 64 to start going to upper 70’s. Cloudy with some drizzle now but clearing later this morning.

Plans for today is bring Kathleen’s car in for service then come home and go for a long walk ! Pool needs to have a robot vacuum job. Also need to put in weekly chemicals since I didn’t do that since last Monday !

Grass is up already but will try and wait for Wednesday or Thursday to mow again. Hoping for a little free time to work on the rocking chair seats that I brought back to Ct about a month and a half ago ! 😒

Hope all have a blessed and good day ! 🙏

Those POE camera's are pretty easy to get going, hard part is running the cable. I have one sitting in a front window, I need to get a cable installed out on the garage to get a better angle on my driveway.
Just installed 2 at the farm last month, and left my mobley there so I can monitor them.
Just bought another to install at the church building to catch the lower parking lot. People pull in day and night, and sometimes stay awhile. We do encourage the local police to come by, and they do.

Do you need foundation drain with stem wall? Radon system?

I heard my neighbor taking their recycling can out, so got up and drug mine out also. drug, because last time they emptied it, it lost a wheel which must have gotten recycled. I have a ticket in to replace the can.
Still can't find my 300 ft tape measure. have been looking everywhere. Want to take it to the lot this week to lay out a possible cabin location. Cabin is probably still a dream. Will be camping down that way for a few days at the end of the week.
Did find a 1/4" ratchet I couldn't find the other day, left it laying on radial arm saw after working on PW (which didn't fix the problem).
Dentist appointment today, I hate those. At least I'm not going to work....:ROFLMAO:

Still can't make a new post on TBN, some other functions not working either. Looking for recommendation for a larger rotary cutter for the L5030. Mowing 100 acres with a 5 ft one is slow. I suggested an 8 ft pull behind to my brother, and my sister said NO!. I asked if she was planning to mow the fields with his riding mower. twin head pull behind uses less HP than same size single.

Good Morning Again,
I am having problems with logging in under my Scott_vt user name !

This was my original post this morning!
Ok, admittedly not good with computer! 😉
some things not working right on TBN. can't search, can't create new post.

Morning all, 68 going to 80 and sunny.
Got the lower deck , benches, tables etc. powerwashed. Pretty much done with that.
Then the rain started, good time to chill wan watch war movies.
Saw tigerland for the first time, good, but depressing.

Yesterday a bunch of Turkeys wandered through, they were big enough that even the kid got excited.

This morning out walking the dog, and turn around to see a fawn walking up to us, got about 2 feet away.
Then the dog lunged and the fawn ran away, and the dog got scared and wanted to run into the house

Need to fix garage door gear. If it dries out the week, need to clear out the trench from all the big rains we've had.

Be well,

Good morning, the low is 54 and going to a high of 61°F. Wind WNW 9 mph. Rain.

The furnaces cleaning guy is coming today. So today is the day I will tell him the sad news that I am switching suppliers for oil. That ought to make his day. He doesn't much care for the supplier I have now. Evidently the supplier I have now gets the cheapest oil he can and then charges top dollar for it.

Listening to Proco Harem right now...Whiter Shade of Pale.

Another energy conservation day for me.

I must be getting stronger, I am getting more miserable that I am not supposed to do anything strenuous.

Am waiting for another idiot to call me from the hospital, my patience is just short enough that when they try pushing my buttons I will push two of my own. One the hang up button and the other is the off button.

Have a safe day all

Tips to the wise, keep an eye on your washer's water supply hoses,
Good tip Kyle! And ditto for water heater supply hoses. Watts Mfg. was sued (class action) because they sold cheap rubber hoses that had a phony silver braided covering that made it look like a quality hose. Those things are still installed everywhere-- and fail a lot. One failed on me and it was a huge mess.

75F and sunny today. Perfect weather-- wish I was burning slash but some road repairs need attention.

Finally finished repairing the pasture irrigation line that was broken. Working "below grade" is not my favorite thing! It's 2 1/2 inch pvc, so I needed a repair coupling plus added a PVC shutoff valve. Those two items-- nearly $80. It was half that a few years ago.

Everyone have a great day!!!
