Good morning! Low of 25°, heading up to 59° today. No precip here for about 40 days.....
We're hanging in there.... as best as can be. Another week of tests done.... the Dr. cancelled Dona's first chemo, had a blood infusion instead. Chemo rescheduled for Friday. Her pain is really gotten worse. This is hard.... pain meds aren't helping her too much anymore.....
They drained another 1350ml from her right lung. That makes a total of 3300ml drained out over 6 weeks. But.... she can breathe easier now.
We are taking it day by day, .....really minute by minute. That's all we can do.
Our daughter stopped by for a brief visit on Friday on her way down to the Giddings Tx area. We only had about 45 minutes to visit, Dona had an a dr's appointment to get to. Wish we had more time to spend together, but she was pressed for time.... driving from Bayfield Co to Giddings in one day... took them 15 hours.
I told her to wave in all directions at the "forum guys" when they got there. They are visiting her fiancé's family in the area until the 3rd. Looks like they're having good weather there now.
I hope everyone has a great day!
Prayers for Dona and family.
Thanks for sharing.
I asked my wife if she knew any daughters in law from CO. She knew of 1, but I don't believe a match.
I felt sorry and let snagglepuss in house last night. Afterawhile, she disappeared, and I found her asleep on our bed, so I layed with her awhile, and she curled up next to me. When wife came up, I put snagglepuss out in the garage. That’s when my wife found a tiny tick on our bed. No more snagglepuss in the house.
We put 1 of these on barn cat, and it seems to work.

My daughter's roommates have pets they don't care for properly. She bought them collars. They don't even let them out to do their business.
David I will watch your thread, thanks for sharing.
I would not be able to keep up with Della.
Got the auger motor in for the Pitt Boss, and it fixed it! Bought some pecan wood pellets, pork ribs and chicken leg and thigh quarters. Ate the quarters last night and we were too full to try the ribs. Re-heat them today with baked potatoes. It is so easy to "set it and forget it".
Happy NYE!
We will go to our church's party (which will last from about 6-9ish). Wifey is making Buffalo Chicken dip, dirty oreo pudding, I will make 6 or 7 layer Mexican dip.
Everyone drive safe if you travel. Cops will be looking for DWI offenders. Down here, not all, but most of the offenders are illegals nowadays.
Took advantage of the warm weather to do some mechanic work. Changed oil in my commuter car. Changed rear differential oil in the SUV. Need to change oil in SUV now. Transmission too.
Pork ribs came out great but seasoning had brown sugar in it and I prefer simple salt/pepper/onion and garlic powder. Maybe some Tony Chacheres.
Ready for a new year. But have been blessed last year. Y'all celebrate safely! And a good year to come.
