37 going up to 52 in clouds today, will have lunch at nice Italian restaurant
in Lahaska with brother and wife.

A big man hug to Buppies, hang in there friend and be strong. Nothing like feeling terrible

I am continually entertained by this old on this day pic feature

I think I was six, bottom left, delighted my next older brother got stuck with
squirming nephew baby. My cousin Suzie was clearly showing she liked sitting next to my
oldest brother Mark. And my sister seems to have been paying most attention to the cat.
all normal, always hard to get everyone to look at the camera. Lot of cheeses going on...
my Mother was top right, her sister next to her. Father took the picture, my middle name is Allen
and this is the whole Allen family. Back in the day...

I asked my brother when he had that cast on, so we could date the picture. am guessing 1956 or 57

Worked outside for half a day clearing brush and small trees from an area that has been encroaching on my lespedeza patch. Also plan to plant some elderberries there today. Put the chain saw, loppers, brush blade, pole saw and tractor to work. They all lasted longer than me. Resharpened and refueled chain saw, so ready to head out again today to finish the job.

Forsythia have their first blooms, and the daffodil patch is a pretty stripe of yellow on green.

Good morning, the low is 10 and supposed to go as high as 46°F. Wind E 6 mph. Sunny!

About noon I will go out and scrape the neighbours' place, then come back and pay lots of attention to this place. I extended the top of my back blade out a bit to hopefully make it a bit more aggressive.

Gotta go pay the land taxes around ten.

That is my day pretty much planned out.

I checked my forsythia yesterday, not yet.
but....pics are popping up on this day showing forsythia, so looks like we are running a little late
should be soon

Bill I hope they give you a free toaster when you pay your taxes.

43 outside this AM. may make it to 60 today.

Need to run into the city today. Not for fun though.

Had a nice get together will all the daughters late yesterday. A nice surprise.

Measured one of the trees that need to come out. 223 inch circumference. Yeah, it is a big tree. LOL. The two others are half that size. Not looking forward to the mess.

Good morning TBN!!
40 now 75 and sunny later!
I think I missed posting yesterday.
It was a busy day. Trying to finish my torch cart. Hopefully will be able to get some paint on it soon.
Got a call our glasses were ready so we went to get them Nice to be able to see again.
Got home and we finally got our tank!!

I need to roll it a little on to plastic and sand to drain the I think oil sludge from it.
Then need to start cutting out the ends. That should keep me busy. Hence the reason to get the cart done!!
Still waiting to get a large wooden box from a new Chipotle they are building. It moved yesterday but put it back. It will be a good way to transport my needs down to the tank on the FEL forks. Fill it up. Transport and then back in the garage overnight to store. It is big enough to hold my genny, plasma cutter, torches and any other tools of destruction I will need.
Going to be another nice day sooo....

Time for a second cup and get to it.

Billy, glad to hear that forsythia are in Blume ! Sounds like your chain saw is getting a work out !

Happy, that is one huge tank ! I’m guessing, 5000 gallons? Sounds like you will be using some gas to cut the ends out !

I will post a picture later of my Trex boards piled out in the DW ! Along with the tools I use for old deck removal !

Worked all day yesterday and then came home and spent over an hour outside doing yard cleanup ! There’s still plenty more !

Good morning! 50˚F heading to the low 90s with W and S winds, partly cloudy.

Off today so I can act retired. Warranty guys, on the new pool pump, will come out next week. it keeps shutting off after running for about 10 minutes. Bid came in to paint the trim on this mostly rock house and it is very acceptable.

Today would be a good day to refurbish the large arched metal front doors.

I looked at the neighbors pool cover and will get one next year. I'm loosing the battle with the leaves.
