good morning all
warming up today, should hit 60 in clouds
Thomas sorry you are still getting snow
I woke up with lower back screaming, had to take a pill last night, way too much planned for next few days
to be held back by that. I need to dig around and find my back belt in a drawer some place.
nice brief visit to Popgadget's home and shop, got to see his 3D printing equipment, very cool.
OBD reader said very little, as expected, though it did show a trans code for being stuck in park. ??
car goes into dealer on Monday likely for a complete trans overhaul, will cost me 100 bucks.
no guilt that I'm sure a loser to that warranty policy; will get twice as much back as I paid in in first year.
Really hopeful this will give me a reliable vehicle after this.
but I've put it on notice, you leave me stranded again and you are history.
Good progress on deck Dennis. That old wood sure will give you a splinter. I've had several Trex decks and been very happy with them.
lots of discussion on who makes the best deck screws. There's some pretty high tech stuff out there. At least if you redo the deck with composite,
you aren't likely to have to replace it. Trex has been out since 1996, so almost 30 years experience.
has anyone had plastic decking fail early?
I can just see Newbury's grandchildren cleaning out his garage far into the future.
what in the world did Grandpa need with all these grease guns?
