A while back Freevee had the first 3 episodes of Reacher, based on one of the Jack Reacher novels. Pretty good but I'm not going to pay for Prime to see the rest of it having read the book already.

We old people struggle to realize that kids come with with their own programming that we need to understand it before we start programming them the way we were programmed.

I will NEVER understand the "programming" that tells a pretty girl that putting a hog ring in her nose makes her more attractive...or a young guy who tries to cover every bit of skin with ugly tattoos.

The action comedy Obliterated on Netflix was NOT BAD. Off course they threw in the gay/lesbian elements here and there and some nudity, but was action packed. Also the Submarine movie Hunter Killer, not bad.

I have left a showing of a couple movies that I did't like. I never left the cineplex, just went to another theater which was showing something I thouht I would like better. I paid to see a movie so I might as well watch one I liked.

Not a movie but Anyone watch the series Bosch? It seems like a modern version of 70s TV police show.

I tried to watch it but got bored. Over the years I believe I've read every Bosch book which came out.

I can't watch TV anyways unless I am also doing something else; whether it's reading, playing cards or washing dishes.

Totally get the frustration with movie ratings these days. Pale Rider is a classic, and the R rating seems a bit off. Sometimes, it's the language, but an artistic license can muddy things too. Still, I like movies in theatres right now that have good ratings. What about you?

Pale Rider is a classic, and the R rating seems a bit off.

You have to remember that the movie is about 38 years old. We, as a society, have been desensitized to a lot of that.

Many violent beatings
Attempted gang rape of a teenage girl
Lots of blood and gore
Bullet holes in heads and such, etc...

Thank for the tip. Love Yogi, raised in the Bronx within walking distance from the stadium, my father used to take me to games in the 50s. Will definitely be watching it!️️️

Barbie was a completely, unexpectedly, entertaining movie for me. Its not a kid's film and it isn't really a Merchandising film. It is something entirely "other." I could give a very long dissertation on this film's merits, but i will not bore you with this.
If you have reservations, just see it for free some how, then render an opinion. But watch it all the way though with out fast forwarding. Otherwise you will miss all the little things that make the film fun to watch.
