Price Check Good price for a B2410?

My local dealer has a 2 - 3 year old 2410 with 5ft mmm and FEL, and is 2wd with only 97 hours. They are asking $10,800. Is this a fair price and is the 2410 a good machine?

I am a newbie here and am looking to buy my first tractor. Any help would be appreciated.

B2410's are great machines. Did not realize that they made them in 2WD. But checked <font color="orange"> Kubota's </font> site. They did. All that I have seen have 4WD with a FEL.
I would ask the dealer for a demo. To compare the 2WD with a 4WD tractor. You will find a big difference.
97 hours is low, Not even broke in. Do not know if price is good.

While trying it out, I would specifically ask if you could hit a few dirt piles with it. I have a 2410 and occasionally will forget to slip in MFWD before I go into the dirt pile. Having the front wheels engaged makes a big difference on a tractor that light when doing FEL work. Otherwise a great tractor in a great size. I know they made 2wd, but I've never seen one, can't really offer decent help on the price.

About 4 yrs ago I paid between 15 to 16,000 for a HST B2410 4wd with FEl but no mower. Your price seems reasonable. 4wd is a great plus for hills and snow removal. If your land is flat and you do not need it for snow then you may not miss the 4wd.

I'll go out on a limb here...and say I would not buy a CUT without 4wd.

If there is no snow then there is more opportunity for mud. I' ve been stuck in both, but for some reason I get stuck more in mud than snow!

Like was mentioned above, when doing loader work (digging into a pile) when you lift the full bucket, you take weight off the rear tires. There is a world of difference in my experience between 2wd and 4wd when grabbing dirt with the loader, at least in my experience.

None of this answers your question though...don't know what a good price for that tractor would be. If I were in the market I probably would not ask, I like 4wd that much...
