It transformed into a climber!! Its squirrly on the pavement but a monster climbing the hills now:). It climbs a mud hill in 2wd diff NOT loccked where it took 4wd with the worksite tires..:)
no clearance problems with 26" tires either..

Looks good.
How squirrly on pavement? Does it give a lot of vibration? Does the vehicle have a tendency to drift back and forth?

Let us know what it does to your grass. My grass doesn't care much for my 589's on a 600# ATV. Wondering what the mud-lites on a 2000# machine are going to do.

I'm considering the same but thinking of getting another set of rims and only running in the winter.

Thanks
Brian

actually They are only a winter plowing tire too. I just tried em on to make sure there was no clearence problems due to them being bigger..

yes they vibrate at low speeds..
yes, they are a lil loose turning on apshalt,, like the diff is locked.. wants to go straight..

They leave marks on grass if you are not careful.. but the RTV is very forgiving with the hydrostatic trans..

Aaugh! I wanted to see them but the links don't seem to work now. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif You didn't take them down did you? I was waiting patiently for you to sort of be the tester of the setup. If it worked for you, I was going to be immediately asking about where, how much, any issues, etc. Hopefully the pics will re-appear! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Dargo--

Try clicking on the "whole album" link. That's the only way I could get to them, and then ask all those questions you were going to ask!!

Awesome! Looks like a must if I'm going to go off roading with any of my friends with their ATV's. If I got stuck without anything to winch off of, I doubt if their ATV's would budge a stuck RTV. Thanks for the pics!

The mudlites have been a good mud tire for me.

I use mine on a 500 Quadmaster. They do not like paved roads at all. They work great on the muddy trails around our place. Much better than my original tires. Great farm tire, I get around in the loose soils much better now. Not a great trail tire IMO, mud tires are for loose stuff. On gravel, they stick too well and are hard to turn sometimes. I run in creek bottoms and low areas where trucks and tractors can't go, so mud tires on an ATV keep me moving and working. I use the 4x4 mode much less.. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
