I am lost on the adjustability.... if you are bolting it on with 2 bolts at each tab, will it just move up / down by using one bolt in the upper or lower holes? Does it not need a “ slot “ in order to slide up or down?

The runners have 2 holes and the frame has 4. 3 height options, or 5 if he uses one bolt.

Ahhhh... I wasn’t paying attention... missed the 4 holes! Definitely a good adjustment range! .....now I feel really stupid...:ashamed:

Yes, that is the plan. After I get the thing going on the road grading there may be an initial adjustment up or down, after that I think it will probably stay the same.

With a hydraulic top link it will also provide a lot of adjustment, not only with the 3 point vertical, but with the top link angle adjustment... That's my idea anyway!

Wrapped one side with strap and gusseted. Other side needs drilled, wrapping, and gusseting.

Lots of work with a day job too!

Looking good. Do you find that things get real heavy in short order? While assembling the blade carrier for mine, I enlisted the help of my picker to get it off the bench.

Might need to justify an overhead crane in the shop, that would be the ticket wouldn't it?

Contemplating installing the second rear angle in the opposite direction, what do you guys think?

You are building a really nice grader there !!!!

When you consider your blade placement try to keep it open to flow. There is a lot of material build up in front of and on top of the blades you don't want to create a pinch point by putting cross supports over these areas. Also leave some room between blade for rolling and mixing to occur. If you put 2 blades you will have to make a trade off between blade spacing and blade angle. If it were me I would favor more blade spacing as small angles like 10 degrees or less don't do a lot for you. In this picture you can see how material builds up above the blades. If you have to deal with sod like me on the first pass it is worse. Keeping it open for flow keeps it from clogging up.

I will put them spaced as far apart as I can, I also see from your pictures how it can build up below the cross braces.
