So if I'm reading this thread right, guys with up to 10 hp more and a cab get the same fuel consumption as I do?

Still not clear...on a diesel you have a low pressure feed to the injection pump, then the high pressure feed to the injector. Some have a bypass/overflow that runs back to the top of the tank, all have this overflow at the injector that runs to the top of the tank. This bypass/overflow goes through the low pressure fuel line but is not used bythe engine.
I mean...you want to be as accurate as possible if you are going to meter it.
For grins I attached a pic of my L, the blue is the low pressure side and the red is the high pressure side. It's not very fancy.
I think he is saying the meter is in his fuel storage, not his tractor.

I pumped and pumped and pumped to fill the tank on that thing. Found out later it has a 250 gallon fuel tank.
Wait'll you see the price of food next year. Sure is a 'Good' thing food prices have no effect on inflation [insert head-scratch smiley here]
