I have to admit, the vertical support was welded to the rectangle channel was positioned wrong. I positioned it to one side making the center of the rectangle support force. I will change that.

To pick things up, most of the time you need only to lock it's position in so it can't fall out.
With this 2 1/2 cylinder I can turn most things into fresh squeezed orange juice. Most of the time I can't see the piece I am grabbing. Too much force will ruin the object I need to pick up.
I like the design, it works well. I could have used a smaller cylinder thats too late. Now I was looking for an easy way to lower pressure at the cylinder.

Can I somehow relief pressure into the other side of the cylinder?

I was not talking about the cylinder anchor point on the rectangular piece of metal, but rather the triangular mount on the action end.

Can't you adjust the relief right at the valve?
BTW, anyone ever tell you that you look like John Elway?

He wants high pressure except at the grapple.

Triangle end has giving me no problems
My twisting action was here in the pic.

How is this connected in? Does it need a return line?

Yes, you will need to run a hose either to tank, or to the FEL valve tank return line using a tee.

You can see that it broke at the edge of the weld, which is the weakest part. I would add a 45 degree wedge on at least two sides.
